A tiger that never leave his home in the wild, in a cage, or behind glass, can never be a true tiger.
Why would a tiger want to love? Because tigers are social animals.
Even in the wild, they live with other members of their species, and groom each other, and socialize.
Tigers? White tigers? Really?
Yes, really. In fact, there are actually two subspecies of tiger, the Bengal and the Siberian.
The Bengal and the American, or Siberian, subspecies are black.
The Bengal tigers live in India; the Siberian tigers live in Russia.
The Siberian tigers are bigger, and weigh up to 600 pounds.
Bengal tigers weigh about 350 pounds.
So why Tiger has white color?
One theory is that it's caused by something that's bad for them, and that passes on to them when they grow up.
Another theory is that it's just genetic.
Because their fur darkens, white tigers are called "melanistic."
As a boy in usa, I saw a tiger for the first time.
I was riding in the back of an open car that was taking us to a zoo.
I was filled with wonder.
But while we were there, I began to feel nervous.
Why? Because I had seen tigers before.
I knew how dangerous they are.
And I knew, too, that the zoo was surrounded by slums and farmland, and that tigers were attracted by the smell of people.
I had known for a long time that tigers live alone.
But at the zoo I saw a tiger with cubs.
